We have chosen to call our model Introductory recruiting. Our model is based on making it as easy as possible for companies to employ young adults with neurodiversity. Early on, we identified three causes to why companies don’t hire:
- Hiring new personnel is always a risk
- It will take time from current employees
- They don’t have the necessary understanding of the target group, or the network to reach out to these people.
Novare Peritos manages all these issues – we hire, we coach, and we have the network. By acting as an employer, and taking on all legal responsibilities, a colloboration with us becomes similar to any other consultancy service, with the ultimate goal of finding your next star. During the introductory recruitment, our own coaches are at your service, as for the employee. Generally the introductory recruitment runs for a year, but to match your needs it can also be set to run for a shorter period.
How it works:
Like standard consultant and recruitment companies, we conduct a joint analysis with where we identify your recruitment needs. Based on this analysis we proceed to create a requirement profile.
Based on the requirement profile, we begin to search for a suitable candidate. We meet with candidates continually, and hold initial planning interviews to quickly find candidates who resonate with your requirements. We also make good use of our extensive network within the Swedish Public Employment Service, schools, and other organizations. Once we’ve found a match, we’ll send a candidate proposal consisting of one or several potential candidates for you to interview. A coach from Novare Intro will take part in the interview to provide support and respond to any queries you may have. We put a lot of time and effort into the matching process. We never propose candidates who have not expressed an interest in doing the work you need. We know that magic happens when you find the right person for the right position.
Introduction and coaching
Once you’ve decided on a candidate, Novare Intro will take on all responsibility as an employer and hire the individual. We pay their salary, insurance, and pension. Generally, it takes approximately 2-4 weeks from the point of deciding on a candidate to the point where the individual starts working with you. In the beginning, a coach from Novare Intro will follow along, and learn about the job, in order to get insight into operations and address any necessary changes. The coach is primarily there for support, to enable your colleague to get familiar with the new position in a quick and comfortable manner. We will also provide coaching and training for your managers and supervisors. The coach’s work continues throughout the introductory period.
Transition or continuation
After the introductory period, we jointly evaluate the partnership and prepare for the possibility of you taking over the employment of the candidate. We will assist with any matter during this process. If you decide to continue the employment through Novare Intro instead, we will naturally accommodate this as well.
