M&A Associate
M&A Associate at Allvida
About Allvida
Allvida aims to be the preferred long-term home for entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized MedTech companies in Europe and North America. We build and grow a MedTech ecosystem across the full patient journey, helping life-changing innovations reach more people worldwide.
The role
We are looking for an M&A Associate to join our growing acquisitions team. In this role, you will support the full M&A process, from initial market screening and financial analysis through to transaction execution. You will work closely with the Head of M&A and collaborate with a team of part-time analysts, contributing analytical rigour and intellectual curiosity to a team that moves deals forward in a thoughtful, founder-friendly way.
This is an opportunity to develop deep expertise in MedTech M&A in a lean, high-impact environment where your work directly shapes the group and its direction.
Key responsibilities
You will:
- Work alongside Head of M&A throughout the deal lifecycle, from origination and screening to due diligence and closing.
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comparables) to evaluate acquisition targets.
- Prepare investment materials i.e. deal summaries, valuation analyses, and internal memos.
- Conduct market and company research to identify and profile potential acquisition targets.
- Assist in coordinating due diligence workstreams and managing information across internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with part-time analysts and review analytical work.
- Maintain deal pipeline data and documentation in internal systems.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements across the M&A function.
What we are looking for
- Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
- Solid financial modelling skills and confidence working with complex datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required). Swedish is not a requirement.
- Proficiency in German and/or Italian is preferred; other European languages are an advantage.
- Stockholm based, with willingness to travel regularly, mostly within Europe.
You are detail-oriented, structured, and reliable in your analytical work, comfortable operating in a small, entrepreneurial team where you naturally take on multiple responsibilities, and genuinely interested in MedTech and working with founder-led businesses.
Why join Allvida:
- Work at the intersection of finance and MedTech, supporting acquisitions of companies that improve people’s lives.
- Develop broad M&A skills in a small team with exposure to the full deal process, from origination to closing.
- Join a value-driven, long-term oriented company with a clear and compelling mission and vision.
- Be part of a lean senior team where your contributions are visible and appreciated from day one.
- Flexible working hours, days, and location; work from home is possible, although the role is not fully remote.
- Work with down-to-earth colleagues who value calm, clear, and human collaboration rather than constant “hustle”.
