FAQ: INTENSIVE JAVA COURSE – ONLINE
Do I need to have any knowledge or experience when it comes to coding to be accepted to join this course?
Yes – the tempo and intensity are very high in this course. You need to be able to showcase previous work or training experience to be accepted into this course.
Is the course arranged online?
Yes – you can work from home during the entire course. There will be some meet-ups in Stockholm during the course that you are required to join.
Is the course free?
Yes – the course is free; you will be provided with the study material for the course from Novare Potential, but you need to have your own computer. If you do not complete the course or if you find a job by yourself during the set period, you will have to pay the course fee of 25.000 SEK.
Do I need to sign a contract with Novare Potential?
Yes – when offered a spot in the course, you need to sign a contract to secure your seat.
Do I need my own computer?
Yes – you need to have a computer.
Am I guaranteed a job after the course?
No – but Novare Potential will do everything to find you an assignment.
How will the set-up look like?
You will be hired by Novare Potential, but you will work as a consultant for a client. You will be hired initially for one year, and then the goal is that the client will take over the contract. You will also be handed a mentor during your time as a consultant via Novare Potential.
How much will I earn as a Novare Potential consultant?
30.000 SEK a month.
Are all the lectures and projects mandatory?
Yes – to complete the course, you must attend all the lectures and complete all the individual projects
How many lectures will it be?
One lecture every weekday, most likely between 09.00-11.00
Am I eligible to CSN during this education?
No – since this is a private course, you cannot get CSN
Can I live anywhere in Sweden?
No – you have to live in Stockholm.
Can I have a job or study at the same time as I attend this course?
No – your focus needs to be 100% on the course, because of the intensity.
