The Sustainability team at EQT is looking to hire a Sustainability Associate
The role as Sustainability Associate at EQT is an exciting opportunity where you will be an integral part of building and further developing the sustainability team and EQT’s ambitious societal agenda – where the need and use of high quality ESG data is of ever increasing importance. The position is located in Stockholm and you will report to the Head of Sustainability.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Data collection, analysis, structuring and reporting
- Evaluation and preparation of data platforms/solutions for increasing flows of sustainability-data such as new requests stemming from the EU Sustainable Finance Regulations
- Preparation of internal and external communication and presentation material
- Integrating sustainability in EQT’s public reporting
- Stakeholder engagement such as with EQT AB’s shareholders and EQT Fund investors
- Project management
- Coordination, inspiration and support to the EQT AB Group on sustainability related topics
- Market intelligence, sustainability trends, initiatives and regulations
- Work together with colleagues across EQT to ensure the function develops and applies work processes designed for scalable growth
The role requires regular interactions with various internal functions both on group level and business lines including Finance / CFO office, Tech, Communications, Shareholder Relations, Capital Raising & Client Relations, Sustainability Ambassadors throughout the organization, and several external parties.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability to handle large amount of data and with strong communication skills – both written and verbal. You may have experience from working in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, as a research analyst or a similar position. In addition, you are good at structuring and coordinating complex tasks and projects. You have a relevant educational background and excellent technical skills including Microsoft Office, Google suite and other digital tools. For this position you need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is meriting.
As a person you are a structured and proactive team player with genuine interest in handling data as well as sustainability topics – marrying the two for future-proof decision-making and actions. You should have strong analytical and quantitative skills and be systematic in your way of working. Furthermore, you are a creative thinker and solution oriented with excellent skills in synthesizing key messages or data points for presentations and/or reports.
