Eniro is looking for a Vice President (VP) to the business area New Ventures. The business area’s vision is to increase the overall Eniro Group shareholder value. The strategy to execute the vision involves four strategic themes; scale already existing proven products in the business area, incubate new product lines and validate product market fit, create freemium models to accelerate subscription business model and drive SaaSification in Marketing Partner product portfolio. Furthermore, the responsibility will involve assess M&A and Partnership opportunities for the Group.
The VP will develop and execute strategies to gain access to emerging technology and business models, distribute Eniro Group’s capabilities to new categories of partners, and enhance Eniro Group’s competitiveness via new business opportunities and an improved innovation pipeline. Through relationships with industry partners, investors, startups and accelerators, the VP identifies opportunities – evaluated against Eniro Group’s strategic objectives – for investment, pilots/POCs and strategic partnership. The team will drive new initiatives, prove the business case, and take the first steps in scaling those business opportunities.
The VP New Ventures role will report directly to the Group CEO and be part of the Group Management Team. The role will lead a team to identify, evaluate and execute potential initiatives for Eniro Group including acquisitions, possible joint ventures, and other product growth initiatives. The VP will lead a small team of product owners and third-party experts, capable of developing and managing Eniro Group’s new initiatives. The role will drive all aspects of business case evaluation and execution, from idea generation through valuation, due diligence and execution.
Background and experience
- 15+ years of total relevant work experience
- MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic / professional experience
- Direct experience in innovation, growth, execution, and portfolio management
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to growing SaaS companies
- Superior skills in strategic and financial modeling, analysis and execution
- Excellent project, time, and budget management skills, and being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Nordic business experience preferred with in-depth knowledge of global market trend
To succeed in the position, we expect that you could handle projects with multiple work streams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems. In addition, you can structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels. You have superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to executives as well as external business partners is of great importance. Furthermore, you are team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
