OX2’s IT organization is growing, and we are now hiring a Data and AI Manager to be part of the exciting journey that we have ahead of us and to lead the transformation of our global data and analytics landscape.
About the position
OX2 has been expanding geographically into new markets as well as through offering new energy solutions to our markets. This has necessitated reviewing and developing OX2’s Way of working along with supporting the business with new, innovative and more fit-for-purpose solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Data and AI Manager to lead the transformation of our global data and analytics landscape and who will also ensure that AI technologies are effectively integrated into business processes to drive innovation and efficiency. You will report to Head of IT and be located in Stockholm.
In this position you will have the overall strategic, tactical and operational responsibility for our data and analytics platforms and integration of AI technologies. Together with your team and our business colleagues you ensure that we have the right solutions and tools; weather it is to visualize data embedded in our business systems, build dashboards, reports and analytical capabilities or leveraging the latest advances in machine learning and AI.
Our business transformation program will call for a redesign of our data and analytics set-up. You will be at the centre of this journey, developing and executing a strategic plan implementing our new platforms covering ingestion, transformation, storage and to make data accessible and consumable in different solutions.
As the Data and AI Manager you will own the AI, data- and analytics roadmap and will safeguard that we have relevant frameworks and standards ensuring the integrity of our data assets, secure and compliant data management and consistency in analytics development.
You work in close collaboration with Solution owners, Process owners and Experts and other business representatives across OX2 to inspire and identify opportunities. With your organization and through our partners you secure that we deliver robust services to our users.
You have budget responsibility and take an engaged role in the OX2 IT Management team contributing to the overall IT/OT strategies and objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Further develop OX2’s Data and Analytics strategy and principles and set the strategic direction for AI initiatives within OX2
- Own the Roadmap of Data and AI and manage the backlog
- Lead Data Warehouse Design and Implementation, and optimize data warehouse solutions using Azure services and potentially other solutions moving forward
- Ensure frameworks and standards are developed and maintained
- Data governance ownership and ensure users have access to the right data at the right time based on their roles and granted access rights, and where data quality is key. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Implement and enforce data security measures in collaboration with the OX2 Security team, to protect business and customer data
- Overview the Power BI Development and enable data for report development
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Azure services, Power BI and other tools in the Data and analytics platform and how AI technologies can be applied to support our business goals.
- Promoting a culture that values data-driven decision making across the organization
Sounds like you?
We want to hire a true digital ambassador who is passionate about driving change in a dynamic environment. Through your extensive experience you master the art of turning data into actionable insights. A prerequisite for the job is that you have broad technical competence. Preferably you are software developer at the core, with a solid understanding of data and analytics tools. In addition, you have:
- Minimum 10 years of previous experience within data and analytics
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience including operation and/or people responsibilities
- Previous experience from piloting and/or implementing AI technologies to support business processes and goals
- Proven experience in project management and different delivery methodologies (including Agile practices)
- Several years of experience working with data modelling, data storage solutions and analytics tools, and in particular experience from working with Azure data warehouse and Power BI,
- Also proficient in data integration, data structures, data pipelines and data management in the cloud, SQL and Python
- Experience with implementing zero trust principles in data modeling.
- Formal advanced qualification in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Interest to understand Business processes and how systems can improve the everyday work life of the user, by making systems/solutions simpler and/or more efficient.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
