The journey to be a driving part of the European electrification transformation has just begun for Senior Material. The Sales Director for Senior Materials Europe AB is a key position and central for the development of the business and market. The European business is a start-up and scale-up with a robust business model and existing customers. Volumes that today are produced in China for European customers will be transformed to the European site as it grows. Senior Europe is in a strong and rapid growth phase and is now searching for a Sales Director who will develop and execute on the ambitious growth plans. The role is part of the management team with key responsibility to develop the sales strategy and grow the business with new as well as existing customers.
Key tasks and challenges
- To develop the European sales strategy and grow the business
- Maintain and build relationships with existing and future customers
- Manage relationships with both sales colleagues and key account manager across the world
- Managing key customer relationships, negotiations, delivering sales and profit targets
- Execute, coordinate, and control the annual budget with clear targets, KPI’s and action plans
- Management of annual sales budgets
- Manage the team and setting sales targets. Coaching team members and conduct performance reviews. Continue to build local organization together with existing management
The position is in Eskilstuna and relatively frequent travelling is expected.
Background and experience
- Documented experience in scaling up sales and sales organizations
- Experience in selling B2B technical advanced products and solutions is required and experience from automotive industry is a merit
- International sales experience on European level is a must and experience of the North American markets is a bonus
- Proven leadership abilities coaching ambitious sales teams
- Excellent English. Additional language is a merit for instance Chinese or Korean
- Relevant academic degree and a high technical interest
