Totême is currently looking to recruit a People & Culture Director with an enthusing and “nothing is impossible”-attitude.
Totême is transforming from a Swedish-founded company with an international presence to a truly global player. The same goes for the People & Culture team, and the People & Culture Director will take the lead on transforming the team to a global function supporting Totêmes international growth journey.
The goal of People & Culture function is to develop, manage and execute our People strategy and handle all operational HR matters daily. As a People & Culture Director you will be responsible for the overall global People-strategy at the company (covering >150 employees) and the execution of it. This covers everything from attracting, recruiting, enabling, and engaging the Totême employees.
The People & Culture Director is a part of the Management Team and will report to the CEO, Johanna Andersson.
Background and experience
- Experience from similar positions in an international context
- Experience from leading and developing a strong entrepreneurial organization with focus on a global expansion
- Experience of entering new markets and the ability to easily navigate through local labor law relations, compensation and benefits and culture
- Experience of successfully defining, implementing, and executing on a framework for learning & development and talent management
- The ability to lead change and drive engagement, with a proven track record of successfully raising the people agenda as a priority
- Experience of working in a recruitment intense organization, towards different geographic locations
- Relevant academic degree
- Experience of being an active member of an executive management team
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English

Experience from leading a team and People function through international expansion and growth is a must. S/he also has a commercial mindset and can easily transform business needs into people priorities and activities. The candidate is self-motivated, and output driven and has a strategic mindset. Alongside this the People & Culture Director is a good listener and a speaking partner who enjoys fast-paced environments and being part of continuously building a great place to work. Fluency in both English and Swedish is must.
