Pamir is a Swedish independent investment company focused on developing leading SaaS businesses. Founded in 2011 by Magnus Berglind and Rikard Brattberger, Pamir currently comprises 12 SaaS businesses across five different industrial verticals, including SchoolSoft, e-Avrop, Primona, Allevi, CtrlPrint, and 2c8 Business Solutions. Pamir's operations are mainly based in the Nordics and the UK, but they have a global customer base. All products are software-based and delivered as SaaS services. Together, the group's companies generate a turnover of approximately 420 million SEK with 25% EBITDA.
Pamir has an aggressive growth strategy, which involves actively developing their portfolio companies and expanding their portfolio with new investments and acquisitions. Their goal is to double their portfolio within the next five years, with the potential for an eventual listing, while continuing to grow organically and through acquisitions. Due to expected growth, Pamir is looking to strengthen their investment organization.
The Position
To achieve the ambitious goal of doubling turnover within five years, Pamir is seeking an Investment Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated and driven individual, with previous experience in creating value within a successful company. The role involves leading investment projects from start to finish, including identifying investment opportunities, evaluating potential acquisitions, and participating in negotiations and contract drafting. The Investment Manager will also be responsible for preparing and writing presentations and investment proposals, as well as conducting financial and commercial due diligence. This role is an early entry into a company with excellent opportunities for long-term growth.
Pamir expects the Investment Manager to take broad responsibility and work on all aspects of the investment process, from transactions to business development. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential for the role, as you will be responsible for representing the company in meetings with brokers, advisers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, board members, management, and employees.
Background and Experience
• Minimum of 7 years' work experience in private equity/investment companies, investment banking/corporate finance, or similar
• Candidates may also come from a company with a strong growth agenda where they have been involved in executing acquisitions
• Transaction and business analysis experience (FDD)
• Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management from a high-profile university
• Experience in delivering on ambitious goals
• Experience in strategic and/or operational development of companies is a plus
• Good knowledge of finance, business economics, and entrepreneurship
