Evli Asset Management is currently seeking a driven and business-oriented individual to take charge of sales to Swedish institutional clients. This role will be pivotal in the company's ongoing expansion within the Swedish market and will focus on developing business relationships with institutional clients. Working closely with the company's management and fund managers, the successful candidate will be instrumental in broadening and enhancing Evli's business operations and customer base. Expertise in management and sales will be essential in this role.
Key tasks will include developing and implementing effective strategies for both acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. Evli is looking for an individual with a strong entrepreneurial drive and capable of generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to foster productive relationships, contributing to the establishment of a high-performing team culture characterized by proactive engagement and efficiency. In addition to contributing to business development, the candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive corporate culture grounded in integrity and innovation.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management Sweden, this role will be based at Evli's Swedish head office located at Regeringsgatan in Stockholm.
Job Description:
The role involves building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, insurance companies, public institutions, municipalities and family offices. It also entails identifying potential clients and proactively reaching out to present Evli's products and services. Additionally, conducting thorough needs analyses for institutional clients to grasp their specific requirements and challenges. This, to tailor Evli's services to their clients’ individual needs and help institutions implement their investment strategy effectively.
Moreover, providing continuous support and service to clients, including after-sales support and ongoing follow-up on client needs, is crucial. Lastly, conducting continuous market and competitive analyses to identify trends and opportunities is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications and Personal attributes:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A relevant academic degree, preferably in accounting, finance/economics, or business management.
- Experience in business development within the financial sector, with a focus on institutional clients.
- Understanding and experience in asset management is and advantage, but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
- Experience in creating decision-making materials and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- A good understanding of the capital market and the stock market
