Head of Human Resources – Modine
As Head of Human Resources at Modine, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s people and culture agenda during an important phase of transformation and growth. With HR responsibility for Sweden and China, you will be part of the management team and act as a close partner to the business, combining strategic direction with hands-on execution. You will strengthen the organization, build leadership capability and support Modine’s long-term development journey with a clear focus on securing the right competencies and fostering a sustainable, performance-oriented and collaborative culture. You will also ensure that people and organization priorities are closely linked to Modine’s commercial and operational goals.
In this role, you will lead an international HR team and drive a coherent HR agenda, while adapting to local conditions and regulations. You thrive in a global, fast-changing context and combine strong business acumen with a proactive, collaborative way of working. As a trusted partner to leaders, you are comfortable leading through change and maintaining constructive dialogue with unions and employee representatives. This role suits an experienced HR leader who wants to combine strategic influence with real impact in an international industrial environment. The position is based in Söderköping, reports to the Group HR Director Heat Transfer Solutions with a dotted line to the GM Global Power & Process. The role includes some international travel.
Background and experience
- Senior HR leadership experience from industrial or manufacturing companies.
- Proven track record of leading HR through change and growth, including designing and implementing structured HR processes and policies that support both compliance and business needs.
- Experience of leading and developing HR teams in multi-site and international environments.
- Proven experience contributing to business or organizational turnarounds from an HR leadership role is an advantage.
- Solid experience of working with unions and employee representatives in Sweden, including negotiations and collective agreements.
- Strong experience in recruitment and talent acquisition for key operational, specialist and leadership roles.
- Confident user of HR data and analytics to support decisions and follow up key people metrics.
- Relevant academic degree in HR, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
- Experience of actively contributing to a management team from a people and organization perspective.
