EMEA is the largest BU within the global Tube Division with 1,650 employees and BU sales accounting for more than 50% of Tube’s total turnover. BU EMEA has two production units (Primary and Sandviken Hot), two distribution centers (Sandviken and Venlo NL). The BU has two sales organisations, one towards the Application Tubing segment and one towards the Long & piping product segment. The key customer segments are Industrial, Chemical & Petrochemical, Mining & Construction, Oil & Gas and Hydrogen & Renewables.
The role Head of Finance
The Head of Finance will lead a team with functions for Business Control (3 FTEs plus 2 indirect), Indirect purchasing & spare part warehouse (45 FTEs), Risk Management (1 FTE) and Sales support & cash collection (15 FTEs).The Head of Finance will work closely with direct- and indirect purchasing, manufacturing, sales & marketing and other BU functions with forecasting, reporting and analysis, to support and guide business decisions. Another important task is to provide analysis and support to the Tube EMEA business in a proactive way to ensure that results and deliveries are in line with targets and strategic direction. The role also means working as a liaison between finance and operations to drive operational efficiency, identify improvements ensuring profitability and cost efficiency. The Head of Finance is also responsible for leading the investment process within Tube EMEA. Another important role is to ensure compliance and monitor the Risk Management function since metal prices are a key financial component in the business. The Head of Finance BU Tube EMEA is part of the BU management team and reports directly to the BU Tube EMEA President Sofia Hansson.
Candidate Profile
The new Head of Finance BU Tube EMEA is a good team leader with experience from the industrial sector. A solid financial tool kit in combination with an understanding of and interest in industrial operations and technology is also valuable. A good communicator and relationship builder that can lead and develop the team and foster good stake holder relations with different parts of the business. Analytical and strategic capacity as well as the ability to operate comfortably in an international environment is also important.
Valuable experience and competence for the position

- Experience from international industrial companies with a fully integrated supply chain
- Experience from operations, commercial and industrial processes etc
- Understanding of the raw materials- and metals sectors is a plus but not a must
- International experience
- Academic degree in Finance or Technology
- Fluency in English and Swedish

The HQ is in Sandviken which allows commuting from Stockholm / Mälardalen and nearby locations.
