The Role
In the role as Global IT Security Architect, you will work with IT and business stakeholders to design, implement and maintain overall security architecture and controls. You will evangelize security best practices to stakeholders and work with internal and external resources to enhance and improve Munters’ security posture. You will be reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.
You will also:
- Collaborate with business area teams and advise on system security best practices.
- Evaluate network and security technologies to support secure operation of different networks.
- Assist in administration and maintenance of enterprise network monitoring platforms and of endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability scans for public and private assets.
- Provide insight and share administration of infrastructure security
- Respond to, investigate, and provide analysis of security incidents for the enterprise
Skillset
You should have:
- Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise security controls for infrastructure, software, and hardware
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST) and data privacy laws (GDPR)
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor and to influence peers and business leadership on security practice
- Several years’ experience with cyber, information and data security
- Experience with evaluating system and application security designs and architecture
- Ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences and communicate clearly on security threats, vulnerabilities, and risk
- Familiarity and understanding of security best practice for cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Familiarity and experience with administration of security solutions, to include:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Endpoint security
- SIEM
- Phish testing and security awareness training
- Familiarity with IoT and the ability to investigate and evaluate security solutions and controls for IoT implementations
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or other certifications that indicate proficiency in multiple security domains)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and work effectively in stressful and emergent situations
