OX2’s IT-organization is growing, and we are now hiring a Data and Analytics Lead to be part of the exciting journey that we have ahead of us. You will play an important part in designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions on the Azure platform, as well as leveraging Power BI for insightful data visualization.

About the position

OX2 is expanding geographically into new markets and with new technologies which necessitates reviewing and developing innovative solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in cloud-based data warehousing, proficiency in data modelling, and a strong understanding of business intelligence concepts. It also requires the need to understand the concept of data governance and proactively design datasets and dataflows which adheres to the business need for scalability, integrity and compliance. You will lead and guide our IT-Partner and facilitate a Secure Development Lifecycle.

In the role you will be collaborating closely with OX2 internal colleagues as well as external IT partners to ensure the correct accessibility and quality of business-critical data for users to perform analytics work. The responsibility includes creating roadmaps, supplier management, market outlook for technology trends as well as securing our platforms and applications are healthy and are running smoothly. The Data and Analytics Lead is part of the IT team, and you will report to Manager of Infrastructure and Operations Technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Further develop OX2’s Data and Analytics strategy and principles
• Own the Roadmap of the Data warehouse and manage the backlog
• Lead Data Warehouse Design and Implementation, and optimize data warehouse solutions using Azure services
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into the data warehouse
• Secure Data Integration to the data warehouse
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the Data Warehouse to ensure efficient query processing and data retrieval
• Ensure that users have access to the right data at the right time based on their roles and granted access rights, and where data quality is key
• Implement and enforce data security measures suggested by the OX2 Security team, to protect sensitive information within the data warehouse
• Overview the Power BI Development and enable data for report development
• Execute decisions and actively prioritize tasks in the area of Data and Analytics
• Create and maintain the product backlog in JIRA and prioritize user stories together with IT Product owners and IT Business partners and ensure that IT partner resources have a clear understanding of deliverables, when external resources are used
• Advise the Business Partners and Product Owners in Data and Analytics matters
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Azure services and Power BI

We want to hire someone who has genuine interest and documented experience in leading the development of Data and Analytics. A prerequisite for the job is that you have broad technical competence. Preferably you are software developer at the core, with a solid understanding of data and analytics tools. As a Data and Analytics Lead you have a key role in realizing and further developing OX2's strategies in the area. In addition, you have:

• Earlier working experience from similar roles as Cloud Data engineer, Application consultant, System developer.
• Several years of experience working with data modelling, data storage solutions and analytics tools, and in particular experience from working with Azure data warehouse and Power BI
• Also proficient in data integration, data structures, data pipelines and data management in the cloud, SQL and Python
• Experience from working with a holistic Secure Development Lifecycle and the concept of "security by design"
• Experience of Data classification as well as Compliance frameworks
• Interest to understand Business processes and how systems can improve the everyday work life of the user, by making systems/solutions simpler and/or more efficient.
• Project management skills
• Relevant education such as Computer science and System administration, or similar achieved knowledge and skills through work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
