The Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for the overall HR-strategy at the company and its execution. This covers everything from attracting, recruiting, , developing and engaging the Telenor employees.
The main purpose of the role is to develop and then execute the people- and organizational-agenda to position Telenor Sweden well for the challenges and new opportunities going forward. This will be done in alignment with Group strategies and includes building organizational capabilities, enhancing digital employee experiences and facilitating cross-learning.
Today’s HR organization is divided into 4 teams reporting to CHRO: HR Managers, People Experience and Operations, People Experience & Development and finally Facilities, a total of 25 employees.
The Chief Human Resource Officer is part of the Executive Management team and reports to Telenor Sweden CEO and will be based in Stockholm at the head office in Råsunda.
As our new CHRO, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic direction, objectives and activities with regards to people and organization
- Being a strong partner for the CEO and the rest of the management team in addressing the organization’s agenda
- Removing the barriers on the employee-journey when developing and executing HR processes
- Building and influencing relevant policies to ensure we have a healthy and non-discriminatory work environment in compliance with relevant Group policies, local laws and international regulations Contributing to long term reputation building of Telenor Sweden among key stakeholders
- Through recruitment and mobility of resources ensure that Telenor has the right leaders and experts to meet market demands.
- Balancing the motivational factors (compensation and benefits, stimulating culture, work tools, work methods, etc.) needed to deliver an engaged and efficient organization in line with market demands
- Being a promoter for organizational development through transformative operational efficiency and explore new ways of working
- Contributing to the direction-setting and development of the Group Human Resources function

To be successful in the role of Chief Human Resource Officer, we believe you have:
- Business understanding, to be able to lead and develop the strategic role of an HR function within a company-wide strategy.
- Excellent competencies related to organizational development (engagement and culture) such as change management and transformation, ensuring the organization has the right skills and competencies to succeed in a digital era
- Exhibit thorough knowledge about the local market in Sweden as well as the external stakeholder environment
- Strong networking skills and experience in handling key external stakeholders
- A good understanding of Swedish labor law and its implications for the business
You also have a commercial mindset and can easily transform business needs into people priorities and activities. You are self-motivated and output driven. Alongside of this you are a good listener and speaking partner and enjoy a fast-paced environment and being part of continuously building a great place to work. Fluency in both English and Swedish is a must.
Beyond this, you have an academic degree in Human Resources or a similar relevant degree. You have experience in leading complex and dynamic structures and drive HR processes across units in an inclusive manner.
