About the position

As Associate Director Axfood, you will play a pivotal role in driving and developing one of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ most important customer relationships within Swedish retail. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will be responsible for shaping and executing growth strategies for the Home channel, ensuring profitable long-term business development. You will lead and inspire a cross-functional customer team, directly manage two employees, and be a key part of the Extended Leadership Team. The role involves leading high-stake negotiations, overseeing financial performance, and developing customer plans that deliver tangible results. You’ll have a direct reporting line to the Director KAM Home and work closely with senior leadership and multiple departments. This is an opportunity to take ownership of major business initiatives in a dynamic, values-driven, and multicultural organization.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Driving business development and profitable growth with Axfood, one of Sweden’s largest retail customers.
  • Leading and negotiating complex customer agreements and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and implementing both short- and long-term customer strategies and business plans.
  • Managing financial performance, including revenue, volume, and profit targets as well as budget responsibility.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a cross-functional customer team and supporting individual growth.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving market share expansion.
  • Ensuring value creation for customers by aligning offers with their needs and market demands.

Background and Experience

  • Proven track record in successful business development and sales performance.
  • Experience from the FMCG sector (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of structured sales management and volume sales, ideally in a major key account management role .
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and closing complex customer negotiations.
  • Ability to manage both strategic and operational responsibilities, including financial management and contract negotiations.
  • Advanced skills in data-driven analysis and working with factual insights.

This position is based in Stockholm and the office is located in Jordbro.
