Novare Leadership launches Off Grid™: A three-day offsite for experienced leaders

With 25 years at the heart of the Wallenberg ecosystem, Novare knows the demands leaders face. In our work, we see a recurring challenge: leaders keep delivering, but daily pressures leave too little time to think ahead, develop their people and make the decisions that move the business forward.

The consequences show up in the business. Urgent issues crowd out strategic priorities. Decisions accumulate around the leader. Teams wait for answers rather than taking ownership. Ways of working that once helped a leader succeed can begin to limit what the organisation can achieve.

Off Grid™ is a response to these challenges.

What gets attention, which decisions a leader holds on to and how they respond under pressure all shape the organisation’s ability to execute. From insight to everyday leadership

Developed with co-creator Luke Bache, Off Grid™ combines structured reflection, practical exercises, feedback and dialogue. Participants connect the work to real business challenges and examine how their own responses influence priorities, decision-making and the people around them.

The journey follows three steps: notice established patterns, interrupt familiar responses and redesign how to act. That might mean creating space for a consequential decision, giving others clearer ownership or addressing a difficult conversation before it slows progress.

“Under pressure, it is easy to repeat a familiar response, even when the situation calls for something different. Off Grid gives leaders space to recognise those moments and practise alternatives. The purpose is to bring greater awareness and choice into how they lead, especially when the stakes are high,” says Luke Bache, co-creator of Off Grid.

Strengthening the human layer of leadership

As technology reshapes work, judgment, presence and the ability to build trust deserve deliberate development. Off Grid™ connects these human capabilities to the practical demands of leading a business.

The group is limited to 14 participants to allow depth, active participation and meaningful exchange. Leaders attend individually, outside their own teams, bringing a personal intention – closely connected to a real business challenge –  and a willingness to examine their own contribution to the challenges they face.
