About the Role
As a Credit Investment Analyst, you will play a significant role in DBT’s growth team. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to establish and nurture new customer relationships. In a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will contribute to building our company’s stellar reputation. The role is based in Stockholm.
Core Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Work with the team to identify and evaluate new credit investment opportunities. Deal sourcing will play a larger part in your function as you advance within the organization.
- Due Diligence: Conduct commercial and financial due diligence supported by DBT’s inhouse developed due diligence platform Growth hub.
- Credit Investment Memos: Prepare credit investment memos and present these to DBT’s Credit Committee.
- Negotiations: As DBT’s primary point of contact you will negotiate and structure deals supported by DBT’s experienced legal team.
- Portfolio Management: Support the ongoing monitoring and management of portfolio companies, including analyzing financial performance, identifying value creation opportunities, and monitoring market trends.
- Value Creation: Support value creation initiatives through inhouse projects in subjects, such as strategic growth, product development, and brand awareness.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree (Masters degree is a plus) preferably in one of the following areas: Finance, Economics or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Audit, Consulting, Venture Capital or any other relevant field. More entrepreneurial backgrounds where you have raised funding in any form is also considered.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent command of both Swedish and English in all forms of communication.
Furthermore, we believe that you possess following skillset:
- Financial analysis: Strong ability to accurately analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
- Risk assessment: Must be able to identify, evaluate, and mitigate the potential risks associated with lending to growing SME’s.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous reviewing financial data and detecting any critical issues that may affect a customer’s creditworthiness.
- Presentation skills: Ability to present complex financial information in a comprehensible and structured manner to prospects, clients, and internal colleagues.
- Pipeline management: Ensuring that no business opportunities are lost and that all potential deals are handled in a structured and methodical manner. Effective pipeline management requires structure, planning, and implementation of specific activities for each step in the sales process.
