La Lorraine Bakery Group, a leading player in the frozen bakery industry, is seeking a Food Service Manager to generate and develop new sales opportunities for their frozen bakery products in the local Food Service market.
About the role
As the Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for establishing La Lorraine Bakery Group as a key supplier in the Swedish market. This includes the brands La Lorraine, Panesco and Donut Worry Be Happy. With your thorough understanding of the market and extensive contacts, you will explore and open new opportunities to develop and gain market share with both prospects and existing clients.
The role currently involves managing one Account Manager, with the intention to expand the team as the Food Service business grows. You will also be an integral part of the local management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Food Service channel in the Swedish market, aligned with the Frozen Bakery division’s overall objectives
- Implement a comprehensive Push & Pull strategy, determining the level at which accounts are processed, whether centrally or at the point of sale
- Collaborate with your line manager to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for customers and sales channels, closely monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments
- Provide coaching and support to your direct reports, ensuring they achieve their objectives
- Foster and maintain optimal customer relationships, transforming key account relationships into solid and long-term partnerships
- Identify new commercial opportunities in the Food Service segment and convert them into profitable business
- Nurture relationships with management and decision-makers of Key Accounts, including important wholesalers, further developing these connections
The position is based in Stockholm and reports to the General Manager of the Nordic countries.
Who are we looking for?
We believe that you have a minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the Food sector. We see it as a big plus if you have a Master’s degree, preferably in an economic discipline, and experience in a management position.
To succeed in the role, you have strong negotiation skills, particularly at the central level. You have a passion for food and a significant advantage is having a network of contacts in the Food Service channel. You are an inspiring, self motivated and open-minded individual who possesses the ability to set objectives, make informed decisions, and provide the necessary structure to drive success.
Lastly, you have an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, along with a results-oriented approach. The role requires you to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.
