Braathens Renavia is a pioneering Swedish company at the forefront of developing and constructing production facilities for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Renavia has secured strategic partnerships and investment agreements, including a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with easyJet, Mana Group, and World Fuel Services to supply Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for operations in Europe and the UK. The fuel, produced through gasification of biomass and solid waste enhanced with renewable hydrogen, is expected to be delivered in significant volumes from the start of the 2030s. Building on the foundation of the easyJet and World Fuel Services agreement, Renavia is now in advanced discussions with other leading European airlines to expand its SAF supply footprint.

The Position

This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering company driving the green transition in aviation. As Vice President of Engineering & Project Execution, you will shape Renavia’s strategy for securing EPC partners and technology suppliers while ensuring successful delivery of capital-intensive, technically advanced facilities.

As a member of the management team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the projects, working closely with leadership to define how the production facilities are designed, built, and delivered. This position is ideal for someone who wants to influence both business and climate impact—joining a company that combines entrepreneurial spirit with an industrial and long-term commitment.

As Vice President of Engineering & Project Execution, you will shape Renavia’s strategy for securing EPC partners and technology suppliers while ensuring successful delivery of capital-intensive, technically advanced production facilities.

Key responsibilities include

• Lead EPC contract structuring to optimize cost, schedule, risk allocation, and technical performance

• Oversee execution of EPC contracts, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline

• Act as Renavia’s key interface with EPC partners and construction consortia

• Collaborate with the leadership team to define and update the overall project roadmap

Background and experience

• 10+ years in senior roles on large-scale industrial CAPEX projects

• Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex EPC contracts (EPCM)

• Industry background in energy, process, petrochemicals, or major infrastructure

• Track record of working with or within EPC firms and industrial delivery organizations

• Deep understanding of process engineering, construction methodologies, and systems integration

• Commercial mindset and ability to align technical decisions with long-term business goals
