Head of Product

Sleip is entering a growth phase and is looking for a Head of Product to take overall responsibility for its product portfolio and continued development. In this role, you will create structure, sharpen prioritisation and drive product development in close collaboration with leadership, engineering, design and commercial teams.

The Role

As Head of Product, you will own and further develop Sleip’s product portfolio. Today, this includes the company’s core iOS product, related add-ons, Desktop, and internal tools. Looking ahead, key development areas include Android, expanding core platform functionality, and building out scalable commercial and user management solutions.

A central part of the role will be to create a clear and well-anchored product roadmap, establish ways of working for prioritisation, and ensure that product decisions are driven by customer insights, data, and commercial considerations. Larger strategic decisions will continue to be anchored in the leadership team, while the product function will have clear ownership of product-related priorities, processes, and direction.

You will also work closely with a current product colleague who brings strong domain expertise from the veterinary side. Over time, you will contribute to clarifying ownership and responsibilities across the product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Own and structure the product portfolio, including product areas, initiatives and priorities.
• Develop and anchor the product roadmap and ways of working for prioritisation.
• Build and scale product capabilities that support the commercial strategy, enabling new packaging models, payment solutions, product-led growth, and emerging business opportunities.
• Lead complex product initiatives from idea to execution, including role-based access control, RBAC.
• Bring a clear product perspective to strategic discussions as part of Sleip’s management team.

Who you are

We are seeking someone with around ten years of experience in product development and product leadership, from SaaS, startup or scaleup environments. You may have worked as Head of Product, Product Director or in a similar role where you have been responsible for complex digital products.

You have experience of building structure and creating momentum in environments where everything is not yet fully established. You are pragmatic, commercially minded and able to connect product decisions to business value. You are also used to working with product-market fit, hypothesis-driven development and fast testing of new initiatives.

We believe you have:

• Solid experience in product leadership within digital products, preferably SaaS.
• Experience from startup or scaleup environments.
• A data-driven approach with hands-on experience in product analytics, user behavior tracking, and A/B testing to drive active user engagement. 
• Experience from management team work and close collaboration with senior leadership.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to drive operational work when needed.

It is a plus if you have experience from B2B2C products, medtech, healthtech, animal health, sporttech or similar areas. Experience from international contexts, payment solutions, self-service flows, commercial packaging, equestrian sports or veterinary medicine is also relevant.
