Enterprise & AI Technology Architect
Envirotainer is looking for an Enterprise & AI Technology Architect who can bring structure, clarity and direction to a complex technology landscape. This is a broad role for someone who enjoys combining enterprise architecture, information architecture and modern AI technology with practical execution and stakeholder collaboration.
The role is part of the IT organisation, reports to the CIO and works across IT, business stakeholders and strategic partners.
About the role
In this position, you will help shape how Envirotainer’s technology landscape develops over time. You will define architecture direction, establish principles and guardrails, and support decisions that connect business needs with long-term technical sustainability. You will also be expected to turn direction into concrete initiatives and help drive them forward in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
A central part of your role will be to translate Envirotainer’s AI ambition into a technical roadmap. This spans platforms, data, integrations, security controls, reusable components and delivery models, in collaboration with relevant architects and specialists across IT.
What you will do
You will maintain a holistic view of the IT landscape and define target architecture, principles, standards and high-level roadmaps.
You will lead architecture governance and support strategic technology decisions through review forums, trade-off analysis and guidance to solution architects and specialists.
You will drive simplification, reuse and standardisation across platforms, applications, integrations and data. This includes bringing coherence to a landscape that has historically evolved application by application.
You will assess solution options and AI use cases for technical feasibility, complexity, data readiness, risk, dependencies, total cost of ownership and operational fit.
You will work closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure that architectural direction is translated into practical actions, decisions and outcomes.
You will also help establish and develop data governance structures together with business data owners and the Analytics & AI Center of Excellence.
Who we are looking for
We believe you have experience from IT strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, domain architecture or a comparable cross-functional technology role.
You understand complex IT landscapes, system dependencies, business processes and technical choices. You can reason about information objects, conceptual information models and how data is created, shared and used across processes and systems.
Experience from IT environments combining internally developed systems with commercial platforms is essential. You should also bring experience from modern IT environments and ways of working, ideally gained through IT modernisation or transformation.
You have practical experience of designing and bringing AI, data or analytics solutions from concept through to production.
You are comfortable balancing business value, cost, risk, scalability, maintainability and long-term architectural coherence.
You are likely to have a relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience. An architecture certification is an advantage, but not a requirement. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience from Microsoft, Databricks or Salesforce environments is considered advantageous.
How you work
You are structured, self-driven and accountable. You enjoy creating clarity where there is complexity, and you can move work forward without needing detailed instructions. You are also comfortable in environments where priorities and conditions may evolve.
You communicate clearly and transparently. You can facilitate discussions, listen to different perspectives and build alignment across organisational boundaries.
You are pragmatic and humble, with the ability to move between strategic direction and practical execution. You are comfortable setting direction, taking ownership of initiatives and following through to ensure progress.
You have the confidence to challenge established views, while doing so in a respectful and constructive way.
Location
The role is based in Rotebro, Sweden. Some international travel may be required.
