Head of Product

Omnio is recruiting a Head of Product to define and drive the company’s product strategy from a data‑first perspective. You will turn established offerings – customer accounts, payments, gift cards, loyalty and related services – into a coherent, data‑led platform and shape “data as a product” rather than a set of point solutions.

Early on, you will clarify the real status of each product domain, recommend what to keep or retire, and identify where Omnio should partner rather than build. You will be actively client‑facing, joining senior colleagues in meetings and presenting the product vision and roadmap in a credible and commercially grounded way.

The role is the first senior product position based in Stockholm and an important step in shifting Omnio’s centre of gravity from a UK‑centric setup towards a more Nordic and continental European focus.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Omnio’s overall product strategy and roadmap with a clear data‑first approach.
• Build a coherent platform vision across accounts, payments, loyalty, gift cards and related services.
• Assess and document the status of existing product domains and drive decisions on what to keep, develop or retire.
• Identify where to partner instead of building in‑house, working closely with the CTO and architecture teams.
• Represent the product vision and roadmap in client meetings, supporting sales and senior management.
• Over time, build and lead a dedicated product organisation in Stockholm.

Organisation and reporting

The role is based in central Stockholm, working closely with the CEO and the Stockholm‑based CFO and analyst. You report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the CTO, who leads distributed engineering teams in the UK and Italy. Initially, you will have functional leadership of the product team, including data and AI specialists, while engineering leadership remains with the CTO.

Profile

• Approximately 5–7 years of experience, ideally including product management and/or business or data roles where data‑first thinking and business insights have been central.
• Entrepreneurial and independent product leader with deep domain knowledge and a strong data background, preferably in embedded finance, payments, loyalty or similar.
• Experience leading or coordinating teams and managing multiple stakeholders, including customers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by building structure and clarity rather than stepping into a finished setup.
• International experience and ability to work effectively with distributed teams while based in Stockholm.
• Strong potential, ambition and entrepreneurial mindset; Omnio is open to candidates who may be slightly less senior on paper but show the right drive and sensibility.
