About the Role
On behalf of Quartr, we are now looking for a Head of People & Culture to join the team in Stockholm.
As Quartr’s first dedicated People leader, you will build and lead the People function from the ground. Reporting to the CFO/ COO, you will own the full People agenda and work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure Quartr continues to attract, develop and retain strong talent while scaling internationally.
This is a broad and entrepreneurial role where you will combine strategic leadership with operational work. You will set up scalable people processes, support managers in their day‑to‑day leadership and help shape a clear and coherent employee experience across the organization.
This role is ideal for a People leader who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, enjoys taking ownership, and is motivated by the opportunity to create tangible business impact through people, culture, and leadership.
Key focus areas
- Develop and implement clear performance management and career leveling frameworks, build existing practices and creating consistency across the organization.
- Partner with leaders on compensation strategy, including salary benchmarking, leveling, incentive structures, and annual compensation review processes.
- Establish and continuously improve core People processes, including onboarding, offboarding, performance and development, compensation reviews, and international hiring, ensuring consistent adoption across teams.
- Support the organization’s continued international growth, with a particular focus on the US and Ireland, in close collaboration with local experts and legal advisors.
- Ensure that Quartr’s culture, values and ways of working are supported and reinforced as the company grows across locations and legal entities.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you are a pragmatic, business-oriented, and down-to-earth People leader who enjoys building structures in fast-changing environments. You are collaborative, humble, and happy to roll up your sleeves when needed. You are equally comfortable discussing strategic priorities with senior leadership as implementing new processes yourself.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are driven by creating business impact through people, and enjoy taking ownership in an international organization with ambitious growth plans.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a similar role, preferably from a fast-growing environment.
- Proven experience building and developing People processes in a high-growth organization.
- Solid knowledge of Swedish employment law; experience from Ireland and/or the US is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience designing compensation structures, salary benchmarking and leading annual salary review processes.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities or international organizations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to support decision-making.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Personio, HiBob or similar systems, is considered a plus.
Ready to join?
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape an entire People function in one of Sweden’s most exciting SaaS growth companies.
