About the Role
As Global Sustainability Manager – Environmental Strategy, Decarbonization & CSRD, you will have global responsibility for Securitas’ environmental and climate agenda. You will own the Group’s environmental strategy and emissions reduction roadmap, with a particular focus on Scope 1–3 emissions, environmental data, and CSRD – and ensure it drives both sustainability impact and tangible business value.
The role is central to the Group sustainability team and combines strategic leadership with hands-on expert support. You will work closely with the business, as well as with Finance, Procurement, Investor Relations and sustainability managers across regions and divisions, to translate environmental goals into concrete actions that strengthen operational performance, enhance client value, and support long-term growth.
This is a senior role with broad mandate in a decentralized, international organization, requiring strong analytical capability, stakeholder management skills and a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset. The role is based at Securitas Group HQ in Stockholm and reports to Chief Ethics & Sustainability Officer. Occasional international travel may be required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and strengthen the Group’s environmental and climate strategy, ensuring Scopes 1–3 targets drive both impact and business value.
- Use data, prioritisation, and business engagement to advance our 2030 climate goals and translate climate performance into strategic advantage.
- Lead the development of life‑cycle and LCA capabilities, helping position Securitas as the industry leader in detailed emissions transparency for clients
- Act as Group expert on emissions, environmental data and interpretation of sustainability regulation (CSRD)
- Own the Group’s overall CSRD narrative, coordinating inputs from topic owners and bringing them together into a clear and coherent story.
- Lead and develop the environmental content and narrative for the CSRD report, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment
- Develop environmental requirements and due diligence in the supplier value chain (CSDDD), in close collaboration with Procurement
- Develop a strategic approach to ESG ratings and frameworks (e.g., CDP, EcoVadis) that boosts our standing and supports business growth
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you are a confident and proactive sustainability professional with the ability to combine deep environmental expertise with strong business understanding. You are comfortable working independently, driving topics forward and influencing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
You have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy working with data, while also being able to communicate complex topics in a clear, pragmatic and business-oriented way.
We believe you bring:
- Several years of experience working with decarbonization and Scope 3 emissions in a large organization or consultancy setting
- Strong knowledge of the GHG Protocol, CSRD and relevant ESG frameworks
- Experience working cross-functionally in an international, decentralized organization, with high complexity and pace
- A relevant university degree in sustainability, engineering, business, economics or similar
- Comfort in creating clear decision material and presentations using PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
