Our three-day board training, The Board Program – Successful Board Work, is rooted in contemporary governance practice and designed for those interested in board work or preparing for a board appointment. You may already hold a board position today, or you may aspire to take one on in the future. The program is also valuable for owners who want to ensure effective board practice and/or appoint external board members, as well as for organisations seeking to prepare employees for board roles in subsidiaries or holding companies.

In The Board Program, we focus on what you need know to become a competent and confident board member, equipped to contribute to the oganisations’ development. Board Profile Consultation

As part of the program, you will also have the opportunity to meet with a Senior Consultant from Novare Executive Search, with extensive experience and a focus on board appointments. During this meeting, you will have a unique chance to align your skills with market needs and discuss your personal profile.

 

Certificate of Completion

The training ends with a Certificate of Completion from Novare Board Programs, verified by TRUE.

Urban Båvestam är advokat på Lindahls Advokatbyrå i Stockholm. Han är specialiserad på aktiebolagsrätt och tvistlösning. Han biträder styrelser med löpande rådgivning och utses regelbundet till ordförande på bolagsstämmor.

Tom Johnstone is Chair of the Board for Husqvarna Group, Collegial AB, Combient AB, and Wärtsilä Corporation. He also serves as a board member of Investor AB and interim Chair of Northvolt AB. Previously, Johnstone was President; CEO of AB SKF from 2003 to 2014, Executive Vice President from 1999 to 2003, and President of the Automotive Division from 1995 to 2003, having held senior management positions within AB SKF since 1987

Marie-Louise Kjellström is working board chairman of Novare Leadership and leads the Board Programs business area. Marie-Louise has been working with issues in professional board development since 2015. She is also Chair of Club Eriks AB and of the Selection Committee for Sophiahemmet in Stockholm. Previous board assignments include Hemnet, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Projektplce, among others.
