Alma Property Partners is a leading real estate investment company focused on the Nordic Region of Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. The company was founded in 2014 by a group of senior real estate professionals with extensive experience and a proven track record from the Nordic real estate investment market. Alma is wholly owned by the partner group and built on the principles of active ownership and strong alignment with investors. The firm has 21 employees with offices in Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen.

The Alma funds have assets under management (AUM) of approximately €750 million with diversified property sectors including necessity driven retail, light industrial and warehouse, multi-family residential, office and care properties.

Alma manages three closed-ended opportunistic real estate funds with over €700 million in equity commitments. The firm completed raising capital for Alma Fund III (~€350 million in equity capital) in November 2023 and the fund is actively investing. Alma Fund IV will begin capital raising during 2025.

The position

Alma Property Partners is looking for a keen and driven investment Analyst to their office in Stockholm. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing local real estate private equity investor and be a key contributor to all investments from initial analysis and early negotiations to closing and through to exit. The positions main responsibility will be to evaluate new investment opportunities, support transaction processes and to create value in the existing investments.

Alma is an agile organization with a clear and fast in-house decision-making capacity. The position as an Analyst will contribute to a close-knit working community and it will give the right candidate the ability to significantly contribute to the company’s success.

Alma’s size and organizational structure provides in-depth insight to the whole investment process, from acquiring and developing assets to the disposal process. The position also offers a unique platform for professional growth within private equity real estate investments as a result of significant exposure to all aspects of private equity investing from day one.

Main responsibilities

• Assisting in the identification of and evaluation of new investment opportunities and creating initial business plans / strategies
• Taking an active role throughout the investment process including acquisitions, disposals and financing
• Preparing and analyzing investment cash flows through financial modelling
• Preparing decision-making and other materials for the investment committee and financing banks
• Managing due diligence processes and coordinate transaction workstreams
• Participate in and support deal team in investment committee meetings
• Analyzing and monitoring performance of the current portfolio in conjunction with the Asset Management Partners
• Support the investment team with various analyses of strategic and operational nature

Background and experience

• Suitable education, such as masters degree (finance, technical or legal) or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate finance, private equity, management consulting or consulting within the real estate sector
• Strong financial modelling skills (Excellent knowledge of Excel in particular, additional computing skills is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal English

• Have a curious and strategic mindset and the ability to perform under tight timetable.
