The Position
The Head of Editorial & Content at Munters is a pivotal role that involves developing and implementing a comprehensive digital content and editorial strategy. This position is integral to Munters ambition to boost brand and business value through a global digital and content strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the digital content and editorial strategy.
- Set Goals and KPIs together with the rest of the team.
- Ensure timely, quality content that aligns with brand and tone of voice.
- Lead the editorial calendar in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Own start page and content on corporate section.
- Approve content published on the corporate web and SoMe.
- Produce high-quality content and manage projects with internal and external parties.
- Ensure integration of video and social media into the overall content strategy.
- Keep corporate evergreen content up to date in Swedish and English.
- Coordinate updates and translation processes with local editors.
- Lead the development of AI tools for editorial.
- Communicate and act on insights and analytics.
- Develop message houses, write narratives and articles.
- Ensure and measure engagement on website articles.
Background and experience
- 7-10 years of experience in communications, preferably within an international, matrixed organization.
- Proven editorial expertise with a strong understanding of business and strategy.
- Experience in managing cross-functional content teams without formal authority.
- Excellent writing skills, native-level command of English and Swedish.
- Ability to simplify complexity into clear, audience-specific communications.
- Expertise in digital communications, proficiency in Optimizely and O365 tools.
- University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Personal characteristics
The ideal candidate should possess creativity, a big-picture perspective, be self-motivated and goal driven (plan and follow up methodically). You need the ability to manage complexity while demonstrating business focus and being problem-solving.
They must have a high level of ambition, as well as being structured, detailed-oriented and quality-focused combined with a results-oriented mindset.
Additionally, the candidate should be socially visible, team-oriented, responsive, and skilled at building relationships and influencing others. The ability to remain stable under stress and foster a collaborative and engaging work environment is essential. Interest or curiosity for new technologies and AI adaption is appreciated. Passion and ability to write and produce high-quality content across various channels.
