About the position

As Senior Internal Audit Manager, IT at Autoliv, you will lead risk-based IT audits and advisory work across cybersecurity, resilience, data privacy, continuity, and regulatory compliance. You’ll provide independent, high-value insights directly to senior management while ensuring strong governance and global standards. Based in Stockholm and reporting to the VP Internal Audit, you’ll work in a dynamic international environment with regular travel, lead audit teams and partners, and collaborate closely with senior business and IT leaders. This is a chance to influence a global safety innovator and strengthen its digital future.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and execute a risk-based IT audit plan aligned with Autoliv’s risk profile
• Deliver assurance across IT governance, cybersecurity, OT, infrastructure, applications, data, and emerging tech
• Conduct targeted advisory work and provide clear, strategic recommendations
• Guide and mentor internal auditors and co-sourced partners
• Ensure independence and compliance with IIA Standards
• Translate complex IT risks into clear business impacts
• Identify control gaps and assess ITGCs, automated controls, and security frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, TISAX)
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and communicate results effectively
• Achieve audit targets and deliver actionable improvements
• Drive continuous improvement through analytics, automation, and innovation
• Stay current on emerging technologies and enhance methodology and QA

Background and Experience

• Academic degree in IT, Finance, or related field
• Extensive experience in IT auditing, preferably within a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of IT risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with audit planning, execution, and reporting
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., SOX, ISO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, TISAX)
• Professional certification (e.g., CISA) strongly preferred
• Experience from IT operation or IT development is preferred
• Experience from manufacturing or automotive industry is an advantage
• Proficiency in English, additional languages are an advantage
