They are now recruiting a curious and business-oriented Sales Manager who wants to be a key player in the journey of creating long-term societal value with focus on sustainable value creation. GreenIron’s vision is to become the global metals and mining sector’s most respected and innovative CO2-free company by leading the industry´s transformation from a linear to a circular economy. As Sales Manager you will operate in a dynamic and international market where you will proactively identify new business opportunities and build strong and long-term relationships with clients. With a strong focus on understanding the market and customers’ needs you will drive sales activities in the Nordics and Northern Europe. In your role you will position GreenIron as a leading actor in the industry, you will participate in and organize industry events and seminars – increasing both company presence and engagement.

 

As Sales Manager you will be based in Stockholm, however there is a possibility of a hybrid work setup. As the role has a global scope, with focus on the Nordics/Northern Europe, international travel is estimated to approximately 50-70 days per year. You will report to Chief Commercial Officer Tanja Ilic, and work in close collaboration with other colleagues within the company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the market, competitive situation and customer needs.
  • Responsibility for driving sales activities and closing  the same, in the Nordics and Northern Europe.
  • Plan, organize and participate in events and seminars to increase GreenIron's presence and market share in the region.
  • Work as Sales Manager, transitioning to managing clients as Account Manager to ensure growth and development of client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong and long-term customer relationships, drive customer satisfaction and ensure that customers' needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Identify new business opportunities and close deals to support GreenIron's growth goals.
  • Work independently with strong drive and initiative, while maintaining effective collaboration with the team.
  • Contribute to GreenIron's overall strategy for growth and expansion.

 

Background and experience

  • University degree.
  • Proven ability to drive sales processes from start to end, and to grow client accounts.
  • Experience from the steel-, the foundry -or mining industry is a requirement. Experience from other heavy industries such as oil/gas may be relevant.
  • Experience of working in a scale-up company and being able to demonstrate specific successes and achievements in that role.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish. Knowledge in German, Spanish, Portuguese, or French is an advantage.
