The company is expanding its product portfolio and geographic footprint and is building a modern debt financing platform with a strong position in the European credit market. Its aim is to strengthen financial health, support individuals and create lasting value for financial institutions, investors and communities.

About the role

You will have a central role in ensuring that the Board of Directors, its committees and key management committees work in a structured, efficient and compliant way. You will plan and coordinate the multi-year governance calendar, prepare and quality assure meeting materials, and follow up on decisions and actions.

The role will be working closely with management team and senior leadership. This is a governance-focused role for someone who enjoys coordinating, structuring and driving board and committee processes in a regulated environment. English is your primary working language.

Main responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and follow up on Board of Directors and board committee work, including agendas, schedules and documentation.
  • Structure and support key management committees so that meetings, decisions and follow-up are consistent and well documented across both governance layers.
  • Prepare and quality assure meeting packs, formal documentation and minutes.
  • Be the first point of contact for questions related to board processes and governance documentation.
  • Support the General Counsel and management in ongoing corporate governance work and process improvements.

Profile

You have 3+ years of qualified experience working with corporate law and governance matters including board planning, for example from an in-house function, a law firm, or a regulated financial institution. Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting boards and senior management is also considered, provided you have substantive exposure to board work and governance processes.

You have a good understanding of corporate governance and are used to independently handle board work, corporate formalities, and related tasks. You enjoy working closely with boards and executive management and have experience in drafting minutes and documenting processes in a structured way.

You express yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English, and you are comfortable working with board portals and other digital tools that support governance and documentation work.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience from a regulated or financial-services environment (for example a bank, credit institution, fintech, fund or asset manager) in a role connected to governance, board work or corporate secretariat is a plus.
  • Strong planning, coordination and documentation skills, and an interest in regulatory and governance issues.
  • A relevant academic background, for example in law, business or finance.
  • Very good communication skills in English, spoken and written.

You are structured, reliable and comfortable working with senior stakeholders. You enjoy taking ownership of processes, following up on deadlines and contributing to clear and well-functioning governance.
