Skanska is now recruiting an HR Business Partner to Group HQ.

 

As HR Business Partner at Skanska Group HQ, you step into a central role supporting senior leaders in an international and complex headquarters environment. You are close to the day‑to‑day reality of the business, combining strategic HR partnering with hands‑on execution. You own the full HR agenda for your area, from talent and performance to organizational development, change and culture. As a trusted advisor, you turn HR strategy and governance into clear people plans and practical solutions that strengthen leadership, teams and ways of working across Skanska Group HQ.

 

The position is based at Skanska’s Headquarters in Stockholm and reports to the Head of HQ HR.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, translating HR strategy into concrete people plans that support business goals.
  • Drive and continuously develop HR initiatives across talent, performance, compensation & benefits, organizational development, learning and D&I.
  • Coach and support leaders and teams to strengthen capability, collaboration and performance.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects and development initiatives, using HR data and analytics to produce clear insights and recommendations.
  • Design and implement change activities that support new ways of working and secure adoption in the organization.
  • Run and coordinate core HR processes together with the team (recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance cycles, talent reviews, compensation & benefits and employee surveys).
  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance on employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters and performance improvement.
  • Support operational HR areas such as labor law, governance, rehabilitation, mobility, union relations and work environment.

 

Background and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of qualified HR experience, including substantial experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience from large, complex corporate environments, preferably at group or headquarters level.
  • Broad HR background, including talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, organizational development, learning and D&I.
  • Proven track record of leading HR projects and development initiatives from analysis and design to implementation and followup.
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish labor law and HR practice, with experience from corporate environments and dialogue with managers and unions.
  • Experience of change management, including organizational changes, new ways of working and leadership development.
  • Experience of employee relations, conflict resolution, rehabilitation and work environment matters.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and using HR data to support decision making.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
