Arevo is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the innovative team in Umeå. As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in transitioning Arevo from a product development company to a thriving commercial enterprise. Reporting directly to CEO Niklas Åström, you will act as a key business partner in executing growth strategies and priorities.

This position demands a hands-on approach with a focus on strategic financial planning and KPI management. You will be instrumental in building the company’s organizational structure and financial infrastructure, ensuring alignment with Arevo’s overarching business goals. The role offers the flexibility of commuting to Umeå, with an expectation of three days per week at the office.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Oversee all financial operations and maintain investor relationships.
• Establish legal structures for new market entries.
• Support the CEO in executing business strategies and priorities.
• Develop and implement strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
• Provide proactive financial and commercial insights as part of the management team.
• Develop adaptable financial reporting models for international expansion.
• Deliver accurate cash flow forecasts and reports.

Background and Experience:

• Proven experience as a CFO or similar senior finance leadership role.
• Strong strategic business partnership capabilities with the CEO.
• Proven experience in international environments and understanding of global growth challenges.
• Previous experience in private equity-owned organizations is advantageous.
• Previous experience from setting up legal entities internationally.
• Experience in collaborating closely with investors and capital markets.
• Relevant academic degree in finance, business, or similar fields.
• Fluent in English, with Swedish language skills preferred.
