The Position
As the Head of Finance Partnering Sweden, you will lead a team that bridges both business partnering and project partnering combining deep financial oversight with strategic influence. Using your strong transformational background, you will contribute to further develop a robust controlling and partnering framework. Leveraging your management consulting experience, you will provide building an organization that contributes with valuable analysis and advice to the business, ensuring it is challenged and supported at every step. The organization has recently been reshaped, embarking on an exciting journey to develop its teams and functions. This transformation presents an exciting leadership challenge in defining and developing the roles, the team and creating a high-performing function that drives the organization towards success.
In this role, you will lead a team that acts as financial partners supporting the business in a proactive way. You will oversee all financial aspects of the projects, from establishing standardized processes and templates to managing structured follow-ups, ensuring best practices are implemented consistently across all projects. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving finance transformation, providing guidance on the financial analysis needed to ensure projects meet and exceed business objectives.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the CFO office, reporting directly to the Nordic CFO. Your primary responsibility will be to establish a proactive and data-driven partnering function that works closely with the business. You will lead a finance partner function that will be recognized as a trusted advisor, driving change and creating new business opportunities, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Deliverables of the Role Include:
• Providing insightful financial analysis and reporting to enhance decision-making and improve business performance.
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Collaborating across functions to drive financial performance and improve operational efficiency.
• Managing and developing a team of Finance Partners, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Leading the transformation and development of the Finance Partner function.
The Team
You will lead, develop, and motivate a team of approximately 15 professionals based in Sweden, mainly Stockholm. Your leadership will be critical in driving innovation and improvement, setting the highest standards for providing excellent service to internal stakeholders.
Profile of Requirements
The successful candidate will have a relevant background as a consultant, preferably with operational experience. You will have a proven track record of leading substantial finance teams, delivering efficiency improvements, and maintaining the highest standards of governance across large-scale organizations. Experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is essential.
Background and Experience:
• Relevant education in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in business controlling is mandatory, and experience in management consulting is highly advantageous.
• Proven leadership experience with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative working style and team player mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Fluency in Swedish and English.
