OX2’s IT organization is growing, and we are now hiring a Data Engineer to be part of the exciting journey that we have ahead of us and to be a key player in the transformation of our global data and analytics landscape.

About the position

OX2 has been expanding geographically into new markets as well as through offering new energy solutions to our markets. This has necessitated reviewing and developing OX2’s Way of working along with supporting the business with new, innovative and more fit-for-purpose solutions.

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect and Engineer to be a key driving force in the transformation of our global data and analytics landscape. You will be part of a great and highly skilled IT function and will be located in Stockholm. You will be part of a growing Data and AI team and will report to the Data and Analytics Manager.

In this position you will take a central role in redesigning our data and analytics set-up. New critical platforms are currently being implemented to support evolving business needs, and you will be at the centre of this journey, developing and executing on our data strategy covering ingestion, transformation, storage and to make data accessible and consumable in different solutions. Together with the team and our business colleagues you ensure that we have the right solutions for the purpose; weather it is to visualize data embedded in our business systems, build dashboards, reports and analytical capabilities or leveraging the latest advances in machine learning and AI.

You work in close collaboration with Product owners, Process owners and Experts and other business representatives across OX2 to inspire and identify opportunities. Together with the team and through our partners you secure that we deliver robust services to our users, and you will play a key role to make OX2 more data driven and propelling business efficiency through use of AI.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Data architecture design, where you are responsible for designing and implementing OX2’s data management framework, including data models, databases and data warehouses to meet business requirements
• Building and maintaining Data pipelines. Design, develop and manage robust data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow from various data sources to our data warehouse
• Data integration and transformation. Implement ETL processes ensuring accurate ready-to-use data for analytics
• Ensuring data Security and Compliance by implementing measures to protect data integrity, confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Optimizing Data infrastructure by analyzing and improving existing systems to ensure efficient data handling and storage
• Develop data management processes by implementing procedures to ensure data accessibility, accuracy and consistency across organization
• Overview the Power BI Development and enable data for report development
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Azure services, Power BI and other tools
• Advise Process owners and Experts and other business stakeholders in Data and Analytics matters

We want to hire someone who has genuine interest and documented experience in leading architectural design and implementation work within Data and Analytics and has a solid understanding of data and analytics tools. As a Data Architect and Engineer you have a key role in realizing and further developing OX2's strategies in the area. In addition, you have:

• Earlier working experience from similar roles as Data architect and/or Data engineer
• Several years of experience working with data modelling, data storage solutions and analytics tools, and in particular experience from working with Azure data warehouse and Power BI,
• Also proficient in data integration, data structures, data pipelines and data management in the cloud, SQL and Python
• Good business understanding and ability to understand Business processes and how systems can improve the everyday work life of the user, by making systems/solutions simpler and/or more efficient.
• Project management skills
• Relevant education such as Computer science and System administration
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
