Munters is now seeking a highly ambitious Manager Strategy & Business Development to join the AirTech Business Area and accelerate the strategic transformation within the area.
Munters is on a steady growth, driven by the megatrends of climate change, electrification, and digitalization. AirTech, the largest of Munters’ three Business Areas, is at the forefront of humidity and climate control for mission-critical applications, serving diverse industries globally. To support our growth, we are now searching for a strategic, action-oriented individual to drive our business area strategy and key initiatives within AirTech. In this role you are working closely with senior management and regional leaders across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. This role offers significant visibility and exposure within Munters.
The Position
As Manager Strategy & Business Development, you will play a vital role in shaping AirTech’s long-term strategy and engage in its deployment across all aspects of the business. You will be involved in planning, developing, and executing the global business area strategy, as well as driving strategic business development initiatives. Together with a dynamic, high-performing team, you’ll lead transformative projects that support Munters’ strategic vision and drive value across our global operations.
Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Business Development, you will partner with the AirTech Management team as well as local country stakeholders and regional management to align and implement strategic priorities across a complex, global organization. You’ll act as a bridge between high-level strategic thinking and tangible action, developing clear roadmaps and collaborate with regional leaders in implementing Munters’ business model adaptations. You will play a central role in driving key projects that impact our global mission and contribute to the advancement of AirTech’s long-term business development framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact projects across the AirTech Business Area to support the strategic goals and business development initiatives.
- Engage in strategy planning and business development activities that define long-term priorities and actionable initiatives.
- Collaborate across functional areas to create and implement practical roadmaps that align with AirTech’s strategic vision and regional goals.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels, delivering structured presentations and decision-making materials.
- Influence change, inspire action, and shape decisions through effective communication and strategic insight.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in project management within a demanding environment, ideally management consulting.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple functions and geographies.
- Experience in commercial excellence, business model development, and influencing in a multicultural, global environment are highly meriting.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic ideas into practical initiatives and actions that drive business value.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, from the shop floor to executive leadership.
- Fluent in English.

Location and travel Requirements
Flexible location with a hybrid working arrangement based at Munters HQ in Kista, Sweden.
This position requires approximately 20% international travel.
