About the role

PwC is looking for a mid-level C# developer to join their team for a one-year maternity cover. If the fit is right and there is a strong chemistry with the team, there’s a strong chance the position could become permanent after the original developer returns.

Technologies we use:

The team is backend-focused, but some frontend knowledge or a willingness to learn is a plus for collaboration with the frontend team. We use:

• C# and .NET.
• REST and Entity framework.
• SQL and cloud platforms. (Azure)
• CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps Services.
• Javascript/Typescript with Angular on top.

Responsibilities

Beyond completing Jira tickets/coding client requirements, the team values:

• Using feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
• Develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions to the problems.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Share knowledge within the team and PWC.
• Be an essential part of the team, in addition to its culture and ways of working. Day-to-day practices include agile methodologies, and pair & mob programming.
