Our History

In the summer of 2000, Marcus Wallenberg and Börje Ekholm proposed that Investor AB should establish its own headhunting business. With over 150 investments, the group’s success largely depended on finding the right people. Fredrik Hillelson, then HR Manager at Investor AB, was tasked with conducting a case study. Following this, the board approved the creation of Novare Human Capital. That’s how it all began. 

First Assignment.

Fredrik Hillelson was tasked with establishing the business, starting with building the team for mobile operator 3, hiring the company’s first 200 employees. Between 2001 and 2002, additional Novare companies were launched, focusing on executive recruitment, general recruitment, and leadership development. Today, the Novare Group comprises seven companies working across the entire Swedish labor market.
