Our 3-day board training The Board Program – Successful board work is a board training that has its roots in contemporary and modern board work and is aimed at you who are both interested in board work and want to work through a board assignment. Maybe you already have a board assignment today or want to be able to take one later. Board training is also interesting for owners who want to run effective board work and/or appoint external board members or who want to prepare employees to be able to take on board assignments in subsidiaries and holding companies. In our basic board training, we focus on everything you need to know to be a competent and safe board member in the boardroom, and to be able to contribute to the company’s development. Our board education embraces and is based on an ESG – Environment-Social-Governance – perspective.

Additional benefits of the program
The training ends with a Certificate of Completion from Novare Board Programs and membership in the Novare Board Network.

Urban Båvestam

Course leader

Urban Båvestam is a lawyer at Lindahls Advokatbyrå in Stockholm. He specializes in company law and dispute resolution. He assists boards with ongoing advice and is regularly appointed chairman of general meetings.

Petra Hedengran

Course leader October 2023

Petra Hedengran is General Counsel at Investor AB and is responsible for corporate governance, as well as for investments in EQT. Petra is also a board member of Alecta, Electrolux, the Association for good practice in the securities market.

Magnus Bild

Course leader

Magnus Bild is co-founder of the educational company Bild&Runsten. He has long and broad experience in training for board members. Magnus has a doctorate in economics and has been an adjunct professor in financial communication at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Jessica Häggström

Jessica Häggström is Head of Human Resources, Investor AB. She is also a board member of Collegial and Min Stora Dag. Jessica has also worked at Ericsson with Talent Management, HR Management and Compensation and Benefits and was a consultant at Watson Wyatt. M.Sc. in Human Resources and Labor Relations, Linköping University and Uppsala University.

Erika Andersson, CEO Allshares. Erika has over 10 years of experience working with compensation issues. Erika has previously worked as a consultant at Novare Executive Compensation, Aon Hewitt and McLagan in London.

Hanna Setterberg

Speaker Sustainability

Hanna Setterberg is an expert in sustainability, accounting and financing, with a PhD from Stockholm School of Economics. Among other things, she has researched how capital market actors integrate ESG in their practice and has been a visiting researcher at Columbia Business School in NYC and ESMT Berlin. Hanna is a passionate teacher who is often hired by international business schools and companies in the areas of business administration and sustainability.

Cecilia Lundin

Cecilia Lundin is Chief Human Resources Officer at Handelsbanken. She is also a board member of Childhood and Grant Thornton. Cecilia has a background from business roles in senior positions within IT and Telecom as well as from HR director roles in Northvolt AB, Telia Company AB, Tele2 AB, Billerud AB, Novartis and Kinnevik. She has an M. Sc. in Business Administration from Linköping University.

Fredrik Hillelson

Marie-Louise Kjellström

Moderator and course leader

Marie-Louise Kjellström is working board chairman of Novare Leadership Academy and leads the Board Programs business area. Marie-Louise has been working with issues in professional board development since 2015. She is also Chair of Club Eriks AB and of the Selection Committee for Sophiahemmet in Stockholm. Previous board assignments include Hemnet, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Projektplce, among others.
