Grand and Spotify
The program started on April 7 with a focus on elderly care and what is known as ”critical care” with participants from Grand Hôtel and Courtyard by Marriott HoteI in Stockholm. The 3-day intensive took place at Grand Hôtel and combined theoretical studies and practical training. Graduates come away with knowledge about interacting with patients, privacy, disinfection and sterilization, first aid and end of life care.
Funding for the training is provided by Casino Cosmopol, part of the Svenska Spel group. This offers their personnel the opportunity to receive intensive training in healthcare and elderly care.

Now employees from the hotel, restaurant and service industries are offered the opportunity to attend the training and become part of the supply of available staff for healthcare during the corona crisis. After completing training, participants can support the regular staff of healthcare providers with the skills they have learned.
